Vegan Farm - Seeds & such

Since we started Piebird in 2005, food has always been an important part of what we do! Our heirloom seeds are now avialable online. Guests who come and stay can enjoy some homegrown meals (all accomodiations have full kitchens so you can create on your own). Also, through inspiring gardening workshops we teach people how to grow their own food (see below). Come and fill your pockets with seeds, and fill your life with love.

Heirloom Seeds

Seeds that support sanctuary! We started a small seed company almost a decade ago called Soggy Creek Seed Co. Now we have re-illustrated the packages for this collection and are excited to now offer these seeds to directly support the sanctuary here at Piebird Farm Sanctuary. All our seeds are open-pollinated, organic (uncertified), untreated and non-GMO. They are all heirlooms that have been given new names that are more appropriate to their characteristics and our times. Plant some of the Piebird-love in your garden!

How to Grow the Food You Eat -- Organic Gardening Workshops

Piebird is the perfect place to regain a connection to your food.

Quietly walk away from the grocery store, come for this workshop/intensive and then begin enjoying homegrown goodness. This is a hands-on organic gardening learning experience perfect for you whether a beginner gardener or an experienced grower wanting to explore more alternative organic gardening practices.

Learn to live off the land, even if it's a backyard or less (self-sufficiency for small spaces or a small acreage). Whether you have a sunny patio, a currently-lawned front yard, or a 3 acre lot, this workshop will help put you in control of your food future.

Next date: TBA, once we get a feel for how early Spring will be - Sign-up to our email list to be in the know.
